David Rainville Obituary

On September 25, 2020 heaven gained another angel. David Edward Rainville passed peacefully after a brief illness.

Dave was born in Providence, RI and lived most of his life in the Central Square/Brewerton, NY area. Dave will be remembered for his generosity to help those in need when it was possible for him to do so. Dave operated several businesses in the local area including Rainville Auto parts, Fernando’s Hide-A-Way and Toad Harbor Lodge. He was also a veteran serving with the Air National Guard in Syracuse, NY and a member of The Parish American Legion Post .

Dave was pre-deceased by his parents Fernando (Bailey, Beetle) and Rae (Kempf) Rainville. Surviving him are siblings Philip (Geneva) Rainville, Richard (Barbara) Rainville, Lorrie (Jeffery) Herbert, Ann (Alan Roberts) Corkery, Raymond (Paula) Rainville. several nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.

Respecting Dave’s wishes there will be no services. The family will hold a life celebration as soon as we are able to get everyone together. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Sunnyside Care Center, 7000 Collamer Rd, East Syracuse, NY 13057
