David B. Wood, 75, of Central Square, New York, passed away peacefully on July 9, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. Born on March 19, 1950, in Syracuse, New York he was the son of the late Donald and Marion Sampson Wood.

A man of simple joys and humble pleasures, David found peace and happiness in the small moments of life. He had a lifelong passion for cycling, often seen riding his bicycle through the streets of his town, embracing both the freedom and the serenity that it brought him. He retired from the Central Square school district where he was employed as a custodian and spent many years ensuring that the schools were safe, clean, and welcoming for students and staff alike.

David’s sense of humor, kindness, and unwavering commitment to his loved ones will be missed by all who knew him. He had a heart full of love, and his legacy will live on through his children, family, and friends.
