Diane E. Harold, passed away on Wednesday, November 19th.
Visitation will be held on Friday November 28, 2025 from 11:00AM - 12:30 PM at Traub Funeral Home in Central Square, followed by a service at 12:30PM.
A Celebration of Life Gathering will follow at the American Legion in Central Square from 2:00PM-5:00PM.
Diane was born in Syracuse to the late Daniel and Charlotte Eckert on January 16, 1980. She attended Paul V. Moore High School and worked for the local Will and Baumer Candle Factory until their closing.
Diane loved her family, and spending time with them. Her children have fond memories of going to the park, and walking nature trails with their mom, sometimes until dark.
She was the life of the party, but she was also a compassionate listener to her many friends and family. Diane was a kind person, and she always took the opportunity to help others.She also tended to show her love through her generosity and her cooking.
Diane was predeceased by her parents; Daniel and Charlotte, a brother; Douglas, a sister in law; Ronnie, as well as the father of her younger children; Jerry Taylor.
Surviving is her children; David (Cait) Harold, Savannah (Rob) Harold, Ethan (Sam) Taylor and Sarah Taylor, her fiancee; Josh Reed, her siblings, Daniel “John” Eckert, David Eckert, Dallas (Lori) Eckert, Darrell Eckert, Debra (Robert) Leonard, Dorothea (Bill) Gleason, Margaret (Roy) Andrews, Dawn Eckert, Ann (Justin) Eckert, her grandson; Theo Harold, as well as several close nieces, nephews and many extended family and friends.
