Diane Stackpoole

Diane Stackpoole, 84, of Brewerton, NY passed away surrounded by her family on December 2, 2024.

Diane was born in Syracuse, NY March 16, 1940 to Albert and Margaret Kuhn.  She was preceded in death by her husband Charles “Bruce” Stackpoole and her brother Robert Kuhn.  She is survived by her sons and their spouses Ken (Jessica) Stackpoole, Mark (Karen)Stackpoole, and Roger (Karen) Stackpoole and four grandchildren and five great grandchildren, and her sister Marjorie (Midge) Mowers.

Diane and Charles were married on May 24, 1958. They celebrated their great love for one another and their 60th wedding anniversary in 2018 prior to Charles passing.  Throughout their marriage they were very active and often served together in their church community, the United Methodist Church in Caughdenoy, NY.  Diane worked as a US Postal Clerk for over 35 years. For leisure, Diane and Charles shared a love of family, golf and travel.  

Diane had a zest for life, always quick to strike up a conversation and include you as one of her new friends.  She loved puzzles and games but nothing more than to laugh and spend time with family and friends.  Her contagious smile and lightheartedness will be missed.

Services will be held on Friday, December 6th at the Caughdenoy Faith and Family Church, 3  County Rte 37, Central Square, NY.  There will be a visitation hour beginning at 10:00 a.m. followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m.
