Dianne M Cone, 84, of Central Square, NY, passed away peacefully at her home on June 25, 2024, with her family by her side. We are going to miss her but are thankful she is at peace and embraced by God. She is survived by the love of her life, James W. Cone and her devoted daughters Cynthia Giamichael (Philip) and Kristeen M Parr. Her legacy of grace lives on through her adored grandchildren, Caroline E. Parr and William J. Parr. Dianne is preceded in death by all of her siblings: Beverly Gamble, Charles Singer and Patricia Cummings. Dianne was born in Watertown, NY on November 8, 1939. Raised in Alexandria Bay, NY, she forged lifelong friendships and developed a love for “The River”. She graduated from Erie County Technical College in Buffalo, NY and had a four- decade career as a dental hygienist. She worked for many dentists in the area, with her last position prior to retirement with William Pullano DDS. She was still urging us to brush and floss in her final months. Married for 63 years, “Lady Di” and Jim created a lifetime of wonderful memories with friends and family. Whether it was on their boat, at a backyard fire or travelling throughout the US, they shared their special love with countless laughs and even some tears. Dianne will be warmly remembered for her gracious hospitality and warm smile. A calling hour will be held Tuesday July 2, 2024 at 9 am at Divine Mercy Parish, Central Square, NY. A funeral mass will follow at 10:30am. Private burial at St Mary’s Cemetery, Clinton, NY. The family would especially like to thank the neighbors of Pleasant Ave, Hospice of Upstate NY, Nascentia Home Care and the members of Divine Mercy Parish who have helped us walk this journey with Dianne. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Divine Mercy Parish, 592 S. Main St. Central Square, NY
