Donald Casciere Obituary

Donald D. Casciere, 68, of Bridgeport passed away on Thursday at Iroquois Nursing Home following a long illness.

Born in Syracuse to the late James and Carolyn Casciere, his family moved to Central New York in the 1950’s and Don lived in Bridgeport for over 40 years. A professional welder, Don also worked in maintenance at the Canandaigua VA hospital and returned to Bridgeport upon retirement. Don loved western movies and was an avid Buffalo Bills fan.

Surviving are Don’s children, Mike, Jaime, Joe and Deborah Casciere-Gerace; his sister Darlene (Chris) Fischer; several grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

A celebration of life for Don will be announced at a later date.
