Elizabeth “Betty” Anne Cosimano, 77, of Central Square, died on December 11, 2020 in her home surrounded by family.
Betty was born April 26, 1943 in Brooklyn, New York to Carmen Russo and Helen Walts.
She attended high school in Fulton, New York, and continued education with various community colleges throughout the area. She worked in the banking and medical fields while also homemaking with her husband, Joseph, and five daughters.
She enjoyed camping and traveling with the family, cooking and gardening with her husband, and visiting with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph Cosimano of Central Square; her daughters: Debra (Albert) Tanyer, Diane (Greg) Stuck, Anne Marie (Richard) McPherson, Kimberley Chernutan, Keri (Darrel) Lennox; her brothers Wayne (Anne) Walts and Parker “Chip” Almahurst; several nephews, nieces, cousins, grandchildren, and great grandchildren whom she all loved dearly.
She was preceded in death by her mother, father, and her granddaughter, Sarah Tanyer.
Services will be held on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at Divine Mercy Parish, Central Square. A calling hour will begin at 10:00 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial to be held immediately following beginning at 11:00 AM. Burial to follow at Hillside Cemetery.
