Erin K. (Underwood) Henderson

Erin K. Henderson, 46, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 in Utica.

Visitation will be held Monday, November 6, 2023 from 10:00AM to 12:00PM, at Traub Funeral Home in Bridgeport, NY with a funeral service at 12:00PM. Erin will be laid to rest following the funeral service at Bridgeport Cemetery.

She was born December 23, 1976 to the late Robert and Nancy (King) Underwood in Syracuse, NY. She graduated high school, and resided in New Hartford, NY at the Maple Residence.

Erin was a social butterfly, and a lover of the color purple. Everyone who knew Erin loved her. She was a part of the Self Advocacy program at her residence, helping give a voice to others. Her bubbly personality and willingness to help made her a natural mentor. Erin could often be found reading to fellow residents or doing crafts such as her diamond paintings. A fan of football and Nascar, she particularly liked the New York Jets, and her favorite player; Aaron Rodgers. Above all, Erin loved her friends and family. She kept in touch with many over social media, but always enjoyed in person outings.

Surviving Erin is her brother; Robert Underwood III & his long time partner Jessica Klasen, her nephew; Robert Underwood IIII, an aunt; Linda Soules, cousins; Steven Trew and Brittany Planty, and stepfather; Jim Fischer, as well as extended family and friends who will all miss her dearly. She is predeceased by her parents.
