Floyd Walter Jr. Baker, 67, of Bernhards Bay passed away May 13, with his loving wife by his
side.
Born in Cleveland, NY on December 21,1955,
Floyd spent his whole life on the North Shore. He went on to graduate from Paul V Moore High School, and joined the United States Navy. After
the Navy, he became a CDL truck driver for many years. But the career he most enjoyed was

Floyd always had a joke to tell and a sly smile to go with it. His take on life was, “it is what it is.”
Floyd leaves behind his wife, Terri. The high school sweethearts reconnected after 20 years
apart, and spent 27 loving years together. He also leaves behind Shivon, his furry faithful
companion.
Floyd is survived by his two sons, Jamie and Robert Baker; His mom Rose and stepfather
Edward Youmans;
Sisters Nancy Baker, Norma Stoddard, Wanda Rinauto, Patricia (John) Cotterman, and Barbara
(Richard) Rossi-Shaw; Brother Charles (Gloria) Baker; Sister in-laws Bonnie (Bill) Fuller and
Maureen (Jack) DeVaulk; And several nieces, nephews and friends.
There will be no calling hours at this time.
