Frederic A. Bennett, 79, of Little River, SC, passed away on June 2, 2021 at his Summer home in Pulaski, NY. Fred was born in Rochester, NY and grew up in Ira/Cato, NY. He graduated from the Cato-Meridian School District. Fred then joined the US Navy where he worked as an Electrician. Upon being Honorably Discharged, he joined the Sheet Metal Local # 58 and worked for them for many years before his retirement. After retiring, he was able to enjoy his favorite thing, GOLF; playing Golf, watching Golf, dreaming about Golf, and living and breathing GOLF, GOLF, GOLF.
Fred is survived by his wife, Cindy; 2 daughters, Stacey and Kristie; siblings, William (Liz) Bennett, Lisa (Tod) Damitio, and MaryAnne Bennett Behn. He is also the "Grumpy Grampa" of Chad, Caitlyn, Brandon T., Lyndsey, Little Brandon, Anabel, Iris, and Matt. He is "Poppy" of Olivia, Maddix, and Kylieann. Fred is also the proud Daddy of his fur baby, Annie, whom he also referred to as lunatic, but loved her immensely no matter how wild she is.
Fred had his quirks; couldn't stand Cindy's whistling or gum snapping, and always had something to say at just the right moments: " 8 minute showers, girls". "read in the bedroom", "Make sure you clean up your mess" etc etc, but he had a heart of gold, he loved his family, and oh how they loved him. Per his wishes, there will be no services. He did request, however, that we have a party and play the song "Another One Bites The Dust". We may just do that. Although he is gone, he will never be forgotten.
