Georgia Ann Perolla

Georgia A. Perolla, 71, of Canastota died peacefully with her daughter Jennifer at her side on Thursday, January 12, 2023 at the Rome Abraham House following a long illness. 

Born in Syracuse and a life resident of the CNY area, she was the daughter of the late George and Vivian Lalone Perolla. Georgia had numerous interests and hobbies including her trips to

Walmart, playing cards with her best friends, Sandy and Toni Jean. her many trips to the Casino but mostly spending time with her family. She was just a lover of her faith, life and holidays. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Marc Perolla.

Georgia is survived by a daughter, Jennifer (Donny Wilson) Portorsnok; a son Michael (Michelle) Portorsnok; a sister, Sandy (Frank) Bryant; a brother Greg Perolla; grandchildren, Lily, Jack, Harrison and Gavin; nieces and nephews. 

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, January 18, 2023 in St. Francis of Assissi Church, 7820 NY Route 298, Bridgeport. Burial in Bridgeport Cemetery will be in the spring. There will be no calling hours.
