Obituary

Gertrude Williams (Snyder) “Trudy” 80, of East Syracuse, passed away on April 2,2022 at Loretto Health & Rehab. She was born in the village of Copenhagen New York on September 14,1941 to the late Christopher Snyder and the late Anna Peebles. She attended Copenhagen Central School district.

Trudy retired from Higbee Gaskets in Syracuse NY after many years of loyal service, her coworkers admired her hard-working ethics. Gertrude loved to bowl in her younger years and enjoyed country music! She loved to shop online and build her collection of beautiful peaceful hummingbirds.

Gertrude is survived by her children, Wayne (Holly) Baker, Darlene (Glen) Shoop, Bruce (Sherry) Baker, Jeff Baker, Christopher (Amy) Williams and the late David Baker. Gertrude will be missed by her sisters Valerie (Larry) Laribee, Doris (Bill) Adner, and multiple late siblings. She leaves behind many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great/great-grandchild, nieces and nephews.
