Hazel M. Schaff, 94 of Tucson, Arizona died Saturday, November 8, 2025 at Tucson Medical Center.
Mrs. Schaff was born May 1, 1931 in Baldwinsville, New York, daughter of the late Francis and Belle Steves Allen. Hazel previously lived in Central Square, New York prior to relocating to Tucson in 2010. Over the years she held several jobs including her favorite, a housewife, a clerk at Fanny Farmer in Baldwinsville, Riverview Cemetery in Baldwinsville, General Electric and General Accident. She was a former member of Bristol Hill United Church of Christ, and attended Central Square First Baptist Church. She was an avid crafter enjoying mostly ceramics.
Surviving are sons, Larry (Deborah) of Tucson, Arizona, Ronald (Judy) of West Virginia and David Schaff of Tacoma, Washington; a brother; Peter Allen; grandchildren, Jason Schaff; one great-grandson, John Garrett; several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband Frederick D. Schaff who died in 2010, as well as a brothers; James, Jerry, Richard and Robert Allen and a granddaughter, Cheryl Schaff Garrett.
Calling hours will be from 10:00am-12:00pm with services to follow immediately on Monday, December 1, 2025 at Traub Funeral Home, Inc., 684 North Main Street, Central Square, New York. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Warners, New York.
