Henry “Red” “Hank” Francis Auslander, 64 of Williamstown, New York died Wednesday, February 5, 2025 at his home. (Quote from Henry “I always knew I would go on the crapper”)
Born May 26, 1960 in Syracuse, New York to the late Earl and Lois Auslander. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by sisters, Sheila Auslander and MaryBelle Spearance; sister-in-law, Beulah Auslander and brother-in-law, Richard Spearance.
His bullheaded and stubborn-willed love and passion for mechanics and cars will always be remembered by friends and customers who knew him from his working days at Judy’s and Douglas Auto Sales or as a familiar face around his lifelong friend and chosen brother Steven and Carol Bennett of Bennett’s Fruit Baskets.
He is survived by his wife 29 years the former Sheila Murphy; daughters, Nikole (Duncan Moot) Auslander and Saydie Auslander; step-daughter, Tarah Glinski; brothers, Joseph (Martha) Auslander, Earl and Eugene (Sheryl) Auslander; sisters, Lois (Michael) Coseo, Helen Auslander and Theresa (Scott) Stafford; two grandsons, many nieces and nephews.
At Hank’s request there will be no services at this time.
