Howard E. Lang

Howard Elliott Lang, 95, of Lakeport, New York went with the Lord on Monday, February 20, 2023. Born on March 3, 1927 the son of the late Carl Frank and Emily Jane Elliott Lang. 

Howard served his country in the United States Navy in WWII aboard the USS Bennington. He became a pioneer in snowmobile racing and was a legend of his own with Chaparral Racing. Howard had a great love for fishing and travelled often to do so with his friends and family. Howard was a devoted husband and father, and he joins his wife Arleen in eternal rest. In addition to his parents and wife, he was predeceased by his daughter-in-law, Joanne Lang.

Surviving are his loving children, Michael (Alice), William, James and Nicholas Lang; and daughter, Linda (Daniel) Emmons; Howard had many grandchildren and great-grandchildren and will be remembered with love and honor by all of those whose lives he has touched.

Calling hours for family and friends will be from 4:00 to 6;00 pm, with a service to follow immediately on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at Traub Funeral Home BP, 7975 Route 31, Bridgeport, New York. .
