Jacob T. Walsh

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jacob Thomas Walsh, 32 who left us on February 15, 2025.

Jacob was a beloved son, brother, father, and friend who touched the lives of so many with his kindness, selflessness, and unwavering love for his family. Born to Patrick Sr. and Melissa Walsh, Jacob was the eldest of four siblings. He and his siblings shared a lifelong closeness, always standing by each other through life’s ups and downs.

He is survived by his brother Patrick Walsh, his sisters Molly Starusnak (Ronald) and Joanna Lewis (Derrick), and his many nieces and nephews, whom he adored. Above all, Jacob was a devoted father to his children. They were his greatest joy and proudest accomplishments. He leaves behind his four beloved children, Annabelle, Jacob Jr., Aiden, Grace, and their mother Rebecca Dickinson.

Jacob shared a special bond with his mother, Melissa, who was always his biggest source of love and support. No matter what life threw his way, she stood by him, and he cherished the
time they spent together. Jacob is survived by Melissa’s partner, Glenn Benjamin. He is also survived by his Nana, Betty Walsh, whom he loved dearly. He was preceded in death
by his Pop, whose memory remained close to his heart. Jacob was also loved by his father, Patrick Walsh Sr (Linda).

Jacob had a heart for helping others and was always willing to lend a hand to a friend—or even a stranger—in need. He had an incredible ability to make people feel welcome, and his circle of
friends was vast. No matter where life took him, he was rarely seen without his loyal dog, Illiana by his side. His absence leaves an immeasurable void, but his love, laughter, and the countless memories he created will live on in the hearts of those who knew him. Jakiepoo, you will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

Calling hours will be 4:00pm - 7:00pm on Thursday, February 20, 2025 with a service to follow immediately at 7:00pm at Traub Funeral Home, Inc., 684 North Main Street, Central Square, New York.
