James Christy Mathison

James Christy Mathison, 36, passed away on July 16, 2023 after a life long battle with diabetes.

James (aka Jimmy/Jimbo), surviving family members include his loving father Francis Christy Mathison (Chris), brother's; Micah and Jeremy Cruz, sister; Rebecca Cruz, uncle; Larry Mathison and cousin; Michael Mathison and nieces/nephew's Lisette Delee; Mina Cruz and Brandon Doane.

Jimmy enjoyed spending time with his family. He had many road trips as a youth with his parents to visit various lighthouses. He enjoyed going to summer diabetes camp and making new friends. Once he graduated from high school, Jimmy attended the Universal Technical Institute Trade School (UTI). Jimmy enjoyed working on cars, riding dirt bikes, taking things apart and putting them back together, hanging out with his friends and spending time with his family.

Jimmy was a very intelligent young man with an infectious smile and personality and will be deeply missed his family and friends.
