Jeanie E. DuBois

Jeanie E. DuBois passed away peacefully on Saturday July 19, 2025 with her family by her side.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00AM on Monday August 04, 2025 at Mount Pleasant Cemetery where she will be laid to rest with James.

Jeanie was born on March 06, 1943 in Rome, New York. She married James DuBois on August 09, 1963 and the two spent over 50 years together until his passing. 

Affectionately known as the “Old Bat”, Jeanie was the glue that held the family together. Her greatest joy was the cherished time she spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved bingo, and holidays; bringing the magic of Christmas to all the kids every year. 

Jeanie was a talented musician, playing drums alongside her husband in their band, “Round Mound of Sound”. Both James and Jeanie were known to be the “Life of the Party”. Her outgoing and spunky personality will be deeply missed. 

Predeceasing Jeanie is her husband; James, some of her siblings, and her grandsons; David and Amos Jr.

Left to cherish her memory is her children; Amos (Michelle) DuBois Sr. and Marie (Christopher) Darby, her siblings; Joan and Chuckie, four grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
