Beloved wife and mother, Jeanne W. Tarolli, 82, passed away and entered her eternal home Saturday, January 13, 2024, with her family by her side. Jeanne was born to S. Reid and Frances Waring, January 8, 1942 in Central Square, NY.
Jeanne is survived by Peter L. Tarolli, her husband of 55 years; her children Karen Tarolli, and Stephen Tarolli and wife Laurene; three grandsons Ryan, Owen and Ian; her sister, brother-in-law and niece living in France - Carole and Walter Buchberger, and Anita LaBelle; and her sister-in-law and niece - Johanna Hannah and Donna Arenson.
Jeanne earned a nursing degree from Albany Medical School and a Bachelor of Science in Missionary Nursing from Fort Wayne Bible College. She worked for a few years as a nurse at Albany Medical, Crouse Irving, and for the Syracuse Visiting Nurses Association.
She met her husband, Peter Tarolli, at her sister Carole’s missionary commissioning service, and they married on March 23, 1968.
Jeanne was gifted with a kind and cheerful spirit that blessed many people: the elderly patients she cared for as a visiting nurse in her early days; as a wife who partnered with her husband building their photography business; as a friend to many dear people at their different church homes like Pennellville and Caughdenoy Methodist, Redeemer Covenant, Fulton Alliance and North Syracuse Baptist; and as a co-laborer in Christ with friends on church missions committees and other leadership roles. As a daughter, she faithfully cared for and honored her parents; and as a sister, mother, and grandmother, she encouraged and loved us so well.
If you would like to give a donation in mom’s memory, the family suggests giving to a missions organization of your choice. Mom had a heart for missions, and we think she would be pleased by that gesture.
