Jeffrey C. Schwenke

Jeffrey C. Schwenke, 78, of Cleveland, passed away on December 14, 2022 in Rome, NY. He was born on October 28, 1944  in Buffalo, NY to the late Herbert and the late Muriel (Ireland) Schwenke.

Jeff was an Aircraft Mechanic with the United States Air Force for 20 years before retirement. He served from 1964- 1984. Following retirement, he worked at Griffis Air Force Base doing Transit Maintenance. Jeff was an ultimate sportsman with a passion for fishing, love of hunting, and a talent for restoring historical boats.

Jeffrey is survived by his wife of 55 years, Diane M. (Niemann) Schwenke; his son, Jason (Jeanie) Schwenke; grandson, Elliot; brother, Lyle Schwenke; brother-in-law, Hal (Lynn) Niemann; and several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 2-4:00 pm on Sunday, June 4, 2023 at the North Shore Sportsman Club, 234 Whipple Road, Bernhards Bay, New York..
