Jesse "Larry" Thornton Obituary

Jesse L. “Larry” Thornton, II, 80, of Central Square, passed away peacefully Saturday morning.

Larry worked at Muench-Kreuzer Candle Company for 40+ years as a candle maker. Larry loved spending his free time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Sally Michaud Thornton; their son, Jesse (Susan) Thornton, III; his grandchildren, Jesse Thornton, IV, Sabrina Thornton, and Stephanie (Gabriel) Rodriguez; his two brothers, William Sallin, and Jerry Thornton; his sister, Belinda Segars; and his best friend, Richard Breland.

Larry was predeceased by his sister, Darlene Ormond.

Per Larry’s wishes, services will be private for the family.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Central New York.
