Jody M. Robinson, 41, of Oswego passed away unexpectedly on November 17, 2023 at his home. At this time, there are no public services. Jody will be laid to rest in the spring at Hillside Cemetery in the family plot.
He was born with the bluest eyes, on October 18, 1982 in Freeport, Texas to David Robinson and Lorraine Robinson. He was free spirited through and through. Known to be an “alcohol connoisseur” he hosted legendary parties, most notably “Mom’s Birthday Bash” every year. Jody kept everyone entertained with his wild sense of humor, and kept everyone fed with his skills on the grill. He was known to be a great cook, especially for his tasty BBQ.
Jody enjoyed hunting and fishing, as well as fourwheeling, and snowmobiling in the winter. In true outdoorsman fashion, you could always find him barefooted and shirtless (with a beer in hand). In fact, Jody liked to wear as little clothing as legally possible.
Spending time with his nieces and nephews was a great joy in his life. Jody loved his family. Most of all, he was so proud of both his children.
Left to cherish his memory is his children; Alyssa Robinson and Joseph Robinson, his mother and stepfather; Lorraine and Richard Robinson Cushing; his siblings; Raeanne (Steven Jr.) Wright, Rebecca (Rich) Purcell, David (Amy) Robinson Jr., Jason Robinson and Jamie (Judy) Robinson, the mother of his children; Stephanie Robinson, as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, and his adored nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his father, David Robinson.
Arrangements are entrusted to Traub Funeral Home in Central Square, where memories and words of comfort can be shared with the family at www.traubfh.com.
