John G. Stoecker

John G. Stoecker, 80, of Chittenango, New York died Tuesday, February 14, 2023 at Crouse Hospital in Syracuse, New York. 

A native and life resident of the Syracuse area. He was born on September 5, 1942, the son of the late George John and Naomi Stoecker.. Mr. Stoecker was a self employed auto body repair technician in DeWitt, New York. He was a veteran of the United States Army Reserves. In addition to his parents John was predeceased by sisters, Joanne Murrey and Gloria Smith.

Surviving are his wife the former Judith "Judy" McGrath, sons; John M. (Martiel) and William R. (Tina) Stoecker, five grandchildren, 8 1/2 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be from 4:00 - 6:00pm on Friday, February 24, 2023 at Traub Funeral Home, Inc., 7975 Route 31, Bridgeport, New York. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated and burial in Bridgeport Cemetery will take place on a date and time to be announced in the spring.
