Joseph J. Brill

Joseph "Joe" John Brill, age 73, passed peacefully on May 11, 2025, in his hometown of Constantia, New York.

Born in Syracuse, New York, Joe also resided in New Smyrna Beach, Florida for fifteen years. He graduated from PV Moore High School in 1972, where he went on to work hard at many different occupations before owning Joe Brill Masonry (New York) and Joe Brill Concrete (Florida). He poured more concrete than most folks have walked on. Joe loved the outdoors and was dedicated to his softball teams, hunting, fishing (at the ocean and on the ice), snowmobiling, racing, gardening and hanging out with the boys. He was a lifelong Yankees and Syracuse Orangemen sports fan. Joe's love for music drove him to attend close to 100 concerts in his lifetime. Friends and family can recall his humor and his contagious smile (when Joe smiled, everybody smiled). Joe is preceded by his parents; Joseph and Mary (Constantia).

He is survived by 2 sisters; Mary, Barbara and their spouses, and 5 brothers; Mike, Jimmy, Pat, Bernie, Stevie and their spouses, several nieces and nephews and former wife; Linda. Joe was a proud father and grandfather, survived by 5 children; Pete, Nikki, Bobby, Maggie, Katie and 11 grandchildren. While his physical presence may have left us, his spirit and smile will live on forever in our hearts. A celebration of Joe's life will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2025, beginning at noon at The Big Bay in Brewerton, New York.
