Joseph Long Obituary

Joseph F. Long, 81, of Tully, died January 8th at the home of his son Kevin and daughter-in-law Melanie surrounded by family.

Son of Frank and Josephine McCormack Long, Joe retired from teaching 4th grade at Tully School. He was a lifelong communicant of St. Leo’s Catholic Church in Tully.

Joe is survived by his wife Susan of 52 years; daughter Rebecca (Charles) Yonko of Tully; sons Kevin (Melanie) of Clay and Edmund (Jennifer) of Tennessee; grandchildren Sierra, Lauren, and Kevin Yonko, and Timothy, Josephine, and Grace Long; and brother Jack Long.

There will be no calling hours and there will be a private funeral and burial at a later date.
