Joseph Mailloux, Sr., 80, of Central Square, passed away on a Friday November 2, 2018. He had a love for anything mechanical and his career as a truck driver took him across the US. Joe was responsible for delivering the concrete slabs that are now the Buffalo Bills stadium, hauling the beams for the Father Baker Bridge, and transporting every load of stone removed to make Route 17 in Jamestown (now Route 86). He was a buyer and seller of all things “Hotrod” and loved going to auto shows. Joe belonged to several car clubs, most recently the Kruising Knights, and enjoyed talking to other enthusiasts about engines, shocks, tires, and anything else car related. He was a good man with strong opinions who will be greatly missed by those friends and family he held close to his heart.
Joe is survived by his son, Joseph (Lisa) Mailloux Jr.; grandsons: Joseph Mailloux III and Nicholas Mailloux (grandson); and several nieces, nephews, and close friends
He is predeceased by his wife, Barbara Ann Mailloux; his son, Jeffrey Mailloux; his parents, Edward and Genevieve Mailloux; as well as his siblings, Edward, Ellen, Delores, Margaret, and Barbara.
