Joyce Blasczienski Obituary

Joyce Blasczienski, 73, of Hastings, passed away at home on February 12, 2021. She was born on October 15, 1947 in Syracuse, NY to the late Mauford and the late Frieda (Rice) Switts. Joyce was preceded in death by her daughter, Amy Wright in 2007 and her brother, Mauford Switts, Jr.

Joyce was a Home Health Aide for many years. She enjoyed horseback riding, camping, and riding ATVs.

Joyce is survived by her husband of 53 years, Ronald; her daughter, Lisa (Terry) Manchester; grandchildren, Jessica (Eric Higby) House, Toni (Ryan) Hillenbrand, Dillon (Hannah) Schroeder, Heather (Billy Gleason) Baxter, Dallas (Torrie) House, and Angel (JJ) Hays; great grandchildren, Aidan, Trevor, Daniel, Thomas, Amy Lynn, Little Ron, DJ, and Lynnsie; sister, Doreen (Howard) Joy; and sister-in-law, Connie Switts.

There will be a Celebration of Joyce’s life at a later date.
