Joyce Y. Zender

Joyce Y. Zender, 82, of Syracuse passed away on Thursday June 05, 2025.

She was born in Syracuse to the late John and Gladys Kelton on February 14, 1943.

Joyce married Richard Zender in Cicero, NY on July 28,1962. She was a loving mother and the two raised their family together.  Joyce was proud to be the wife of an Ironworker and Army and Navy Veteran. She was so funny, and absolutely loved by all who knew her. 

Besides her parents, Joyce is predeceased by her husband; Richard, a daughter; Kimberly, and a sister; Dorothy Minch.

She leaves behind her son; Todd & Luzmarina Zender, her siblings; Marion Farrell and Robert Kelton, her grandchildren; Eric M., Andrew Zender and Danielle Zender-Santos, as well as several great-grandchildren and extended family.
