Juanita C. Vela

Juanita C. Vela passed away on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, with her loved ones, which include her daughter, Bengee Rice; granddaughter, Maria Rice; and caregivers, Linda Daniels and Shelby Stevens, by her side.

Juanita was born on July 17, 1950, in Kingsville, TX, to the late Raul and Angelina Cisneros.

In addition to her parents, Juanita is predeceased by her husband, Pablo G. Vela; brother, Raul Cisneros Jr.; and sister, Elvira B. Cisneros.

Those left to cherish her memory are her brothers, Arnulfo Cisneros and family, Reymundo Cisneros and family; sons, Pablo C. Vela III and family, Antonio C. Vela and family, and Leon L. Vela and family; and daughter, Bengee V. Rice and family.

A celebration of life will be held 2:30pm Saturday November 15 at Life Tabernacle, 121 Main St., Whitesboro, NY  13492.
