June E. Stewart Denka, 85, of Bridgeport, New York died Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at Oneida Healthcare in Oneida, New York.
Born in Richland, New York on March 3, 1937, daughter of the late Leland and Lois Stewart Rood. June and her late husband Michael,
who died in 1991 were longtime residents of the Bridgeport area. She was a Class of 1960 graduate of General Hospital of Syracuse.
June retired from Upstate Medical Center in 1991 following 30 plus years of service as a Registered Nurse. A woman of many interests,
she really enjoyed auctions and antiquing.
She is survived by a daughter, Amy (Eddie) Mattes; a son, Chris Denka; three grandchildren, three great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at 12:00pm (noon) on Monday, November 7, 2022 with the Rev. Rich Barling officiating
at Traub Funeral Home, 7975 Route 31, Bridgeport, New York with burial to follow immediately in Bridgeport Cemetery..
