Karen Illane Eason departed this Earth peacefully after a full life of 81 years and is now with her Savior, Jesus Christ. An Oswego native, Karen spent much of her childhood living in Ashtabula, Ohio where she graduated from high school in 1959. Karen was a member of the Minetto Methodist Church, Minetto Fire Department Auxiliary, the PTA, and Order of the Eastern Star.
Her favorite song was Edelweiss by Rodgers and Hammerstein, she was a fan of Godzilla and monster movies, enjoyed playing games of strategy, and loved watching birds. Karen was predeceased by her beloved husband, George Elliott Eason, Sr. and son John Jay Eason. She is survived by her daughter Colleen Gayle Eason, sons George Elliott Eason, Jr. and Daniel Seth Eason, sister Juli LeGrand, and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
A private funeral will be held in her honor. It was Karen's wish that flowers be sent to someone living that you love.
