Kevin Backus Obituary

Kevin L. Backus of Cicero passed away April 2nd after a brief illness at 63 years old. He was an Air Force veteran and a former Mexico volunteer fireman. He had a bachelor's degree in Political Science from SUNY Oswego. He had a love of music and played guitar and piano. He had a passion for Syracuse sports, the Rams, and the Orioles. He had a set of culinary skills that would ensure that you'd never leave hungry.

He is survived by his wife Maureen Backus, his children Isaac White, Melissa White, and Amy Backus; two grandsons Isaac White Jr, Brant Griffin; sister Sharon Graves; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be Saturday, May 4th, 12 PM at the Mexico Village Cemetery.
