It is with sad hearts we announce the passing of Kim J. Weed, 69, of Hastings. Kim was born in Rochester to the late Harland and Gladys Files Weed and was the husband of his wife of 39 years, Lorraine Phillips Weed.
Kim worked for over 40 years for Genuine Parts Company (NAPA). Kim was awarded Regional Marketing Manager several times, National Marketing Manager of the year twice and received many other awards and nominations over his career. After his retirement he joined Light Service Center in Geneva.
Kim loved to travel to Hawaii, Disney World, and especially to A-Bay where he made many dearest of friends on both sides of the border. He also loved riding his Spyder and planning countless excursions. He loved hosting BBQ's and bonfires while relaxing with friends and family. He especially loved to make people laugh. Kim was a founding member of the Central New York Spyder Ryders Club. Most of all he loved spending time with his wife and their four legged furry children.
Besides his parents, Kim was also pre-deceased by his brother and sister in-law, Randy and Sally Weed; his father in-law and mother in law, Wayne and Dawn Phillips; and Claire Stalker.
