Kirk Douglas Corsette, 52, of Constantia, passed away at home on December 17, 2022, surrounded by his loving family. Kirk was born in Syracuse on March 10, 1970 to Ellwyn and Elaine Corsette. He valiantly battled cancer the same way he lived his life, giving it all he had, fighting with unfathomable strength and grace, showing kindness to everyone he met, and more concerned about all who loved him, than himself. Kirk was a lifelong resident of Constantia and graduate of Paul V. Moore High School. He loved the outdoors - hunting, fishing and spending time in nature. He enjoyed snowmobiling, ATVs, classic cars, and listening to music. He was the artist of the family, creating pieces we will treasure forever. He was a kind and caring soul who will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Kirk was predeceased by his grandparents, and close friend Kevin Worlock.
Kirk is survived by his parents, Ellwyn and Elaine Corsette of Constantia, sister Tammy (Rick) Bulson and brother Michael Corsette, both of Constantia, sister Karen (Dave Munger) Fairbanks of Palermo, nieces Carrie Bulson, Rachel Corsette, Emily Corsette, Kayla Fairbanks, nephews Brett Bulson and Karl “DJ” Fairbanks, great-nieces and great-nephews Lilly, Diora, Max, London, and Mila. Kirk is also survived by his best friend Gary Sussey, who was like a brother to him, close friend Mary Jo Walker, longtime friend John Winks, aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless extended family members and friends.
