Laura J Vitello passed away on 9/11/24 after battling a long illness of Sclara Derma. Laura was a graduate of Central Square Academy. She also worked at Avis for 29 years and was a Certified Scuba diver. She was predeceased by her parents Francis and Jean Maurer, sisters Joanne Poirer and Margaret Fadden, brother, Edward Maurer.
Laura is survived by her husband of 42 years, Charles Vitello, of Constantia, one son, Christopher (Jodie) Vitello of Canastota,. Niece Heather Bias of West Monroe, Great niece, Toni (Kenny) Bias of Palmyra, Great nephew Matthew (Monica) Fadden and children of Mallory. Niece Alicia (William) Reed, Great nephews Corey and Eddie all of Parish. Nephew Bryan (Shannon) Vitello and children all from West Monroe Sister in laws Dawn Maurer, and son Zach of Parish and Mary Burns of Mallory. Several Great great nieces and nephews, Cousins and many friends. The family has requested there is to be no services, There will be a Celebration of Life on October 20th, 1 pm - 5 pm, at the American Legion in Central Square. In lieu of Flowers, the family is requesting a donation to the CNY SPCA. This was very dear to Laura as they adopted their last 2 fur babies from there. There will be donation envelopes at the Celebration of Life for Laura.
