Leona Baldwin

Leona Baldwin, 91 of Brookdale Senior Living Community, Manlius, NY, formerly of Hastings, NY passed away on July 13, 2020.  Leona was born on January 14, 1929 to the late Alfred and Helen (Mason) Patchin.  She is preceded in death by her husband, Adrian (Pete) Baldwin, in 1998.

Leona worked most of her adult life as a bookkeeper for Tracy Lumber, Reymore Chevrolet, and Carbone Pontiac.

She was an Honorary Life Time Member of the Lioness Club of Central Square, serving as a Past President.  She was so Honored to be the recipient of an Honorary Award from NYS Senator Patty Richie for all of her years of service with the Lioness Club of Central Square.

Leona enjoyed making hats, mittens for the Lioness Club and Central Square Lions Club for their Christmas Baskets project, or Lap Blankets to send to the area Senior Citizens

Leona is survived by her children Howard (Doreen) Joy, Bonnie (Gary) French, Deborah (Scott) McGrew, her step-daughter Bambi Jo (Thomas) Hill, and also her sister Barbara Chase of Manlius, she had 4 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren.

Due to Covid-19 the Family has requested for a Private Service and Burial.  Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery next to husband Pete.

In lieu of Flowers Leona has requested that Donations be made to the Lioness Club of Central Square PO Box 666, Central Square, NY  13036
