Linda W. (Parkhurst) Davis

Linda Wrae Davis was called home August 11th, 2024 at the age of 68. She was born September 13th, 1955 to Beverly (Fradenburg) and Robert Parkhurst and is one of five children. Linda was a devoted mother who valued her family above all else. There is too much hurt in the world to add to it so she chose kindness no matter the situation. Linda lent her strength, understanding, shoulder, and time whenever she could. She enjoyed spending time with her family, singing in the car, going to camp, traveling, the theater, trying new recipes, and believed there was always time for a good book. She took pride in her exceptional work ethic and strived to make things easier for others. She worked for Backus Pedigree of Mexico, New York for many years and then retired from Oswego County BOCES.   

She is survived by her daughters, Angela (Joe) Zesky and Amanda Lynn Davis; granddaughter Lilly Zesky; her partner Douglas Coe; her siblings Patricia Parkhurst, Doug Parkhurst, and Robert Parkhurst. She is predeceased by her parents and brother Dan Parkhurst. 

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, August 20th from 5:00pm - 7:00pm with a remembrance service starting at 7:00pm at Traub Funeral Home, 684 North Main Street in Central Square, New York. Burial services will be held August 21st at 11:00am at North Scriba Cemetery. There will be a gathering to celebrate Linda following the burial service at 147 County Rt. 1a, Oswego, New York.

She will be dearly missed.
