Linda King Obituary

Linda Marie (Simons) King born February 1, 1949, passed peacefully on February 8, 2020. She was surrounded by her loving family.

Linda was a Fulton NY native for 59 years. Prior to being a full-time mother, Linda worked at SealRight, and the cosmetic counter at Wayne's pharmacy. She also worked in the medical field as a CNA at St. Luke's in Oswego, New York. While raising her beautiful daughters, and being an amazing and loving stepmother; she worked alongside her husband at Kings Rubbish Removal, before returning to the medical field, which she loved, at St Luke’s; thereafter she provided private home care for several years. Before her retirement she returned to work fulltime beside her beloved husband and family at Kings Rubbish Removal and King’s Roll-off Services as accounts management and sales representative, providing the ultimate customer service experience, that only she could provide.

Linda was a loving, kind, caring and nurturing wife, mother, stepmother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She was an amazing woman. She loved all animals, especially her horse Brandy, cats, dogs, and birds. She cared for and made sure food was out for cats and birds– in the cold weather. Her and her affectionate husband enjoyed bird watching, especially their hummingbirds that returned each season. She was a Christian woman with a long lifetime relationship with God and enjoyed her fellowship at New Beginnings in Baldwinsville, New York led by Pastor Todd and Pastor Yolanda Reddens. She will be greatly missed and forever loved. Our family feels the void of where she once stood. Forever in our hearts, minds, and souls.

Linda is survived by her adoring husband of 46 years, Gaylord L. King. Daughter Brandi L King-Herzog (Kurt), Grandson Cody Clark. Daughter Jessica L. King. Grandson Tyler E.J. Huntley (Bella Seymour). Granddaughter Savannah A.R. Tice (Jeremy Smith). Granddaughter Ravyn E.M. Ross. Stepson Gaylord J King (Jeanne). Granddaughter Amanda Squeo (Nick).
