Linda Ellen (Cruz) Mathison

Linda Ellen Cruz (Mathison), 81, passed away peacefully with her family on December 10, 2023.

She was predeceased by her parents Lyle and Doris Brown and son James Mathison.

Linda was a quiet, clever person who enjoyed walking (participating in many folk's marches), gardening, doing puzzles, spending time with her family and most of all READING. Linda read thousands of books and generally could be found in the summer lounging on her back deck reading with one of her cats snuggled up close by.

Linda leaves behind her sisters June Brown and Michele Kuhne and their children. She is also survived by her life-long partner and husband of 40 years Francis Christy Mathison (aka Chris) as well as her additional children Micah, Rebecca and Jeremy Cruz and grandchildren; Lisette Delee, Mina Cruz and Brandon Doane. Linda was truly a very special person and will be deeply missed by her close friends, congregation brothers and sisters and family.
