Linda L. (Goodnow) Mills

On Wednesday, March 11, 2020, Linda L. (Goodnow) Mills passed away peacefully in her sleep in Syracuse, NY. She was born in Hope, North Dakota on October 9, 1946 to the late Herbert and the late Margaret (Painter) Goodnow. Linda was preceded in death by her husband, William Mills in 1990.

Linda is survived by her two sons Eric (Heather) Mills, and John (Christine) Mills, 7 grandchildren; Catherine (Ryan) Shue, John Richard (Yunic) Benton, Elizabeth Mills, Dalton Mills, Austin Mills, Alexandria Mills, and Madeline Mills . She is also survived by her brother, Dennis (Violet) Goodnow, and her sisters Rhonda (the late Jim) Cronier, Janelle (Joseph) DiMaggio, and Marlene Miller. She is predeceased by her brother Monte Goodnow.

Linda was an inspector at Carrier Corporation for over 10 years, she was a Cubscout and Weeblo den mother. She loved the great outdoors, taking her sons camping, and fishing at the Redfield Reservoir. She went to school at PV Moore and was on the Marksman Team. She enjoyed cross stitching, and knitting doilies.

Calling hour for Linda will be held at Traub Funeral Home in Central Square on Monday March 16th from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Calling hours will be followed by funeral services at the funeral home with burial to follow.
