Lorrie Herbert left us suddenly on Tuesday, February 18, 2025. She was born, raised and lived in the Central Square, New York area most of her life.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She spent the last six years working at National Grid in Syracuse, New York, previously working for SRC Tech in North Syracuse, New York. She was an active member of the Harmony Acres Horse Club. Lorrie was a woman of vast interests, from big game hunting to being a multiple feature winner as a race car driver at Brewerton Speedway and many other interests and participation. She loved her horses and spending time with her family and friends. She was predeceased by a brother, David Rainville.
Lorrie is survived by her husband of 45 years, Jeff Herbert; daughter, Jessica Herbert; grandson, Joshuah; brothers, Phil (Jolene), Richard (Barb) and Raymond (Paula) Rainville; sister, Ann (Allen) Corkery; many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held from 4:00pm to 7:00pm on Monday, February 24, 2025 with services to follow immediately at 7:00pm at Traub Funeral home, inc., 684 North Main Street, Central Square, New York.
