Marcus "Mike" C. Thomas

Marcus C. “Mike” Thomas, of Phoenix passed away at his home on Wednesday, August 21, 2024. In accordance with his wishes, the family will honor his life privately.

Mike was born in Syracuse to Walter and Caroline Thomas on September 01, 1953. He worked a variety of jobs over the years. Mike married Becky Gleason at the Little Utica Church on May 26, 1973 in Lysander, NY. 

Though he was a quiet man, Mike showed his love through actions, like his cooking. He was known for always preparing  delicious meals like chicken, stews and pot roast. Mike’s prized possession was his yellow Kubota; he always was proud of his lawn and enjoyed mowing it with the tractor. Most of all, Mike was a loyal husband and father.

Besides his parents, Mike is predeceased by his daughter; Una Thomas, and some of his siblings.

Left to cherish his memory, is his loving wife of 51 years; Becky Thomas, his son; Marcus Charles Thomas II, his siblings, Scott, Pam, and Bonnie, and his granddaughters; Chastity and Hailey, as well as other siblings.
