Margaret I. (Vickery) Crump

Margaret I. (Vickery) Crump, 89, of Oswego, New York and formerly of Central Square, New York passed away early Saturday morning, June 22, 2024. Margaret enjoyed spending time outside, gardening, cooking, baking, canning, and most recently painting and doing arts and crafts. She was a homemaker for the majority of her life. She had a feisty spirit and if she didn’t say it out loud, her face would always give away what was on her mind. She didn’t like to sit still and was always on the go.

She was predeceased by her husband, Richard Crump; her first husband, William Derby; and her sons, Randy Derby and Paul Derby.

She is survived by her children, Sharon (James) Walts, William Derby, Gerald (Tammy) Derby, Deborah Vargas, Russell (Terry) Derby, and Wayne Derby; her sisters Edwina "Pat" Kling, and Lois (Julian) Pyzdrowski; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A calling hour will be from 10:00 to 11:00am with a service to follow immediately at 11:00am on Saturday, June 29, 2024 at Traub Funeral Home, 684 North Main Street, Central Square, New York. Burial will be in Roosevelt Cemetery.
