Mary Lou Gibbs

Mary Lou Gibbs, 81, of Pennellville passed away peacefully with her daughter Theresa by her side.

Visitation will be held Thursday August 07, 2025 at Traub Funeral Home in Central Square from 2:00PM - 4:00PM.

She was born to Grace Bradbury in Syracuse on November 19, 1943, one of 13 siblings. She worked various jobs over the years, including Eagle Comtronics, SSAC in Liverpool for over 20 years, and most recently she worked at the Red Onion in Caughdenoy.

Mary Lou had a great enthusiasm for the Great New York State Fair. She loved all the things it involved; food, fun and music. Some of her fondest memories were live music at the fair, Goodwill and Thrifty-Shopper trips with Theresa,  and traveling to Atlantic City. 

Most of all, Mary Lou loved her family, and her daughters. She was a generous, fun loving woman. Her spunky personality will be greatly missed. 

She is survived by her daughter and caregiver; Denise Gibbs, daughter; Theresa Gibbs, siblings; Charles Gray and Judy Gibbs, a close aunt; Carrie Gibbs, a close nephew; Brian Gibbs, several nieces, great nieces, nephews, great nephews, and Drakko; her dog who she loved dearly.
