Milton “Micky” Bisha passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 27, 2026.
He was born on March 8, 1939, in Carthage, NY, to the late Milton and Doris (Cummins) Bisha.
Micky was a NYSDOT bus inspector for 25 years. You could see his signature on almost every bus inspection sticker. His work would take him all around the state and he could tell you wherever a great diner was. Micky enjoyed bowling and was an avid pool player (he was the pro at the table). His heart was in wrenching and tinkering; things could never get thrown away because he might be able to use or fix it. He also loved going to auctions and could never pass up a good deal.
In addition to his parents, Micky is predeceased by his wife of over 30 years, Margaret “Maggy”; twin sons, Edward and Albert; youngest brother, Greg Bisha; and sister, Keitha Delles.
Micky is survived by his children, Suzanne “Suzie” (Tim) Powers, Mark (Karen) Bisha, Sara (Ken) Crary, Lorretta “Lori” Harrig, Cynthia Harrig, and Brenda (Greg) Vogt; brothers, Lynn (Eileen) Bisha and Ted Bisha; sister, Nancy (Butch) Peebles; sister-in-law, Vonda Bisha; along with several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
A private funeral will be held on Saturday, January 31 at Traub Funeral Home in Central Square.
A burial will take place in the spring.
In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in Micky’s memory to your local animal shelter.
