Nancy C. Counterman

Nancy C. Counterman, of Phoenix, NY, was recieved into the arms of God on Sunday, December 14, 2025 with her family at her side.

Nancy was born in Watertown, NY, to the late Gordon and Teresa Peters. She married Raymond Counterman on July 12, 1958.

Nancy worked several jobs over the years, mostly in retail. She loved her family and especially enjoyed baking with her children and grandkids. 

Visitation will be held at Traub Funeral Home in Central Square on Wednesday, December 17, 2025 from 5:00PM-7:00pm. The funeral service will take place the following day, on Thursday, December 18, 2025 at 11AM.

Besides her parents, Nancy is predeceased by her brothers; Charles, Bernard, and Thomas. 

She is survived by her loving husband of 67 years; Raymond, her children; Tina & Ron Svejkovsky, Billy Counterman, Todd & Shelly Counterman, Cindy & Howard Downing, and Nancy & Joseph Bartosek, 18 grandchildren, multiple step grandchildren, and a legacy of over 50 great grandchildren.
