Patricia Ann Barrett

Patricia “Pat” Barrett, 84, of Verona , formerly of Bridgeport and DeRuyter, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 30, 2023 at Upstate University Hospital after a brief illness, with loving family by her side.

She was a devoted member of St. Francis Church of Assisi in Bridgeport. Pat loved to garden, watch Buffalo Bills and SU sports and also spending time with her family, her grandchildren and her great grandchildren. 

Pat is predeceased by her mother Mary Norton, her father Harold Norton, her brothers Martin and Bernard Norton, daughter Sherrill Centro Reinsmith and  husband Conrad “Jack” Barrett.

She is survived by sister Dorothy (Dean) Vlassis, nephews James (Racquel) Vlassis and Dax  (Reilly) Vlassis. grandchildren Courtney, Megan and Kaitlyn Reinsmith, two great grandchildren Juliana Lewis and Spencer Sevigny, son in law Ronald (Lisa Grenier), and many loving cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Calling hours: Thursday, September 7, 2023 from 10-11 am at St Francis of Assisi Church in Bridgeport, New York with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow immediately.

Burial: Pine Plains Cemetery in Kirkville
