Pearl M. Wilson, 94, of Central Square, passed away at home on Tuesday July 29th surrounded by love, family and friends.
Pearl was a military wife for 22 years, traveling all over the world and raising four children with her beloved husband Ernie. Before retiring from the Greater Oneida Lake chamber of commerce as secretary, Pearl worked for Syracuse University in admissions, had her own image consulting business and owned and operated Hair It Is, a beauty salon in Brewerton.
Having a great passion for giving, Pearl spent her final years volunteering for Hospice as well as donating her crocheted handiwork and other handmade items to Golisano children's hospital, Francis House, the Cicero American legion as well as organizations for friends and family.
Pearl is survived by her loving and devoted children, Janine (Dan) Michalski, Shane (Robert) Mittman, Scott (Lisa) Wilson and Eric Wilson, eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
A reception will be held 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday September 4th at the Brewerton fire department. There will be no service or calling hours. In lieu of flowers please send donations to Hospice of Central New York, 990 7th North St, Liverpool, NY 13088 (315) 634-1100).
