Peter M Riley

Peter M. Riley, 92, of Bridgeport, passed away Saturday Oct. 16th.

Peter Graduated from Blodgett Vocational High School in 1947 and was retired from Gray Syracuse in Chittenango NY. Prior to working at Gray Syracuse he was the owner of the Little Kitchen Restaurant/Bar in Canastota.  Peter enjoyed Football (Bills) and spending time with his family, friends and special neighbors.

Peter was predeceased by his wife of almost 50 years, Ruth, and his sister Gertrude M. Riley, his brother and sister-in-law Thomas W. and Jeannette V. Riley Peter is survived by his two Children Gail Emmons and Thomas (Jean) Rankins; three Grandchildren Michael (Storm Corrice) Emmons, Thomas, Jr. (Melissa) Rankins, Chris Rankins (Kaleigh), and step Grandson Jason Tichko; Nephew Thomas M. (Susan) Riley, two Nieces Chere (Michael) DeFio, Jeannette A, “Jan” Riley four great nieces & nephews and several great, great nieces and nephews. Peter leaves behind companion Susanne Wilkowski and very helpful neighbors and friends Gene Cross & Becky Wilkowski Cross.

 A Memorial Service will be held on Friday Oct. 22nd at 11 a.m. at Traub Funeral Home, 7975 Rt. 31, Bridgeport. There will be no calling hours.
