Philip Schreiber, 72, of Cleveland, NY, passed peacefully at home with loving family by his side.
Born to Ernest and Helen Schreiber on March 4, 1949, Philip served with the US Air Force during the Vietnam War. He was a retired Business Manager for Mercedez Benz in Mawah, NJ, as well as a Drug and Alcohol Counselor and Manager at Contract Services/ Cedar Industries. Philip was a member of Divine Mercy Parish, formerly known as St. Mary’s of the Assumption in Cleveland, NY, Knights of Columbus, and St. John’s Baptist Church in Camden.
Philip is predeceased by his parents; nine brothers and sisters; a nephew; and dear niece and “Partner in Crime,” Gail Cruz. He is survived by his loving wife of 17 years, the former Christine Gdula; stepson Zack (Jennelle) Avery of Cleveland, NY; daughters Stacey Kohan of Kingsport, TN and Kimberly (Rob) Wragge of Port Jervis, NY; son Brian (Ashley) Schreiber of Abingdon, VA; sisters Irene Rottner of Valley Center, CA, Lorraine (Kenneth) Cloughley of Commack, NY, and Marion (Bruce) Howard also of Valley Center, CA; niece Helen (Giacomo) Calabrese of Mountain Top, PA and her family; and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great nieces, grand nephews, and cousins.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
